Our goal as a recruitment committee is to build relationships with local high schools in the Santa Barbara/Goleta area and help guide underrepresented, low-income students on the path of pursuing higher education. We provide students with multiple resources through our G.U.I.D.E.S. (Guiding Underrepresented Individuals Developing Educational Success) Mentorship program, workshops, and college trips.

A.S. S.I.R.R.C also provides activist tours in efforts to showcase the benefits of higher education to interested students and youth.
